Prayers are powerful. I believe in sharing testimonies on the Lord's blessings with other people will strengthen faith and edify one another. Jesus Christ did the supreme sacrifice on the Cross, He died for my sins and your sins. Have a moment of thought for Him. Jesus bless you. Amen

Omnipresence of God -- Study + Faith In God

Dear people,
This is a testimony i would love to share about the grace of God. 30/3/2008 would be a day which i would say a day of thankfulness to the Lord God Almighty. Well it was a Sunday and I went to church with my usual church mate. For the past few weeks, I have been actually feeling very lukewarm towards God. Everything in life seems to have quiet down for me. My time for prayer and reading the Bible seemed to have gone down and my devotion time never found space for a slot.

I talked to God in my mind but not through prayer. Something is hindering me from talking to God, praying, reading the Bible and worshiping Him. I was wondering what caused this? Was it my own or was it the work of the enemy. Often a times I know that dreadful, sneaky and sly enemy and his cohorts always distract me with games, time limits, abundance of work, worldly entertainment, tiredness and loads of negative things.

Studies, work load, time limits and exams are the ones that always strike me down like artillery barrage. The souls yearns for God and His Words, but the body don't seem to want to move. How painful, such sufferance. The sinful body does not want to do what a Christian is suppose to do. But the soul living in that sinful body wants God so badly. Has anyone of you ever felt that before. Well I had.

Sunday came and I went for a special service where there was this speaker. His name was Tony Anthony. A half Chinese-Italian guy that was once a big sinner now a man of God. His life testimony and message was powerful and i really felt that there was one more powerful source that was in the congregational hall. It was the omnipresence of God. God was there and His Spirit was working in the hall that so many people was saved today. I was like praise God! Amen! Hallelujah. What a harvest of soul! We thank You Lord.

Well the altar call came, I didn't go out because I have already received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. But I still need reconciliation. I said the sinners prayer. I talked to God IN PRAYER this time. The fact is that, He came to me, He set me free and I felt relieved. Instantly, I can worship. The song Amazing Grace just flow through my soul and i sang it so beautifully that I could not imagine that it was I who sang it. Holy Spirit is working in me. Amen.

God is just so awesome. I know I have exams and I can't just solely depend on miracles from God to happen without me working hard.
Even the Bible says in

2 Thessalonians 3:10 ~ ..."If a man will not work, he shall not eat"

To personalise this verse, it actually meant to me was, If Vincent does not study, he shall not excel. So in the end, I do have to study hard to glorify God. Yet I will do my best and leave the rest to Him. All my worries i cast unto Him, I shall not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself.

Matthew 6:33 ~ But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and all things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

What I have to do now is to know my priorities. My exams are coming. So I have to study hard, but I will be perpetually talking to God and find time to read His Words. The enemy has no authority over me! Because Jesus Christ is my Lord and Saviour. His Spirit lives in me. Amen.

Love, Vincent Lee

Verse of the day:

John 8: 34-36: I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son (Jesus Christ) sets you free, you will be free indeed.

John 6:35 : Then Jesus declared, " I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thristy. But as i told you, you have seen me and still you do not believe. All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away. For I have come down from heaven not to do my will, but to do the will of Him who sent me.

John 6:40: For my Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son (Jesus Christ) and believes in Him (Jesus Christ) shall have eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day (judgement day).

Opening Prayer ~

Dear Magnificent Lord,

PRAYER FOR THIS BLOG & INSPIRATION

You have done so much for us. You have died for us on the cross and take away all our sins. This Easter, in remembrance of You my dear God, and apart of my New Year's Resolution of drawing closer to you, I am opening this blog - to share thoughts about You, Your Words and Your Teachings. O Heavenly Father, please allow Your Holy Spirit to work in me when I am blogging on my thoughts towards You. Please give me your wisdom to share Your Words and blessings with everyone that is about to read my blog. Lord, In Thy Holy Name, I pray that You'll bless and sanctify this blog from any negativities. I have faith in You Lord that You've provided the best for me. Lord, please be my inspiration to write about You. I just want to tell the world about You. For I will not boast of the worldly items that I possess but be proud of the One that came and die for our sins, Jesus Christ. Thank You Father.
This I pray in Jesus Name.
Amen.

PRAYER FOR BELIEVERS
Dear Lord,

I pray for all those who have accepted You as their personal Lord and Saviour. Father God, I pray that You'll be with them and open up the eyes of their hearts as well as the wisdom to understand beyond what I am about to type in this blog. Lord, I pray that from what they have read in this blog, may it be a testimony that will edify them and strengthen their faith. I pray Lord that if they have any questions, they'll comment on my posts and that after reading, I pray that they'll draw even closer to You. I pray that they'll find peace when reading the posts in this blog, and they'll not just blindly accept what they have read in this blog, but rather affirm it with Your Word in the Bible.
Thank You Lord for the brothers and sisters in Christ that has read this blog. Lord I pray that you be their inspiration too and that they'll reach out to the world and sow seeds. To tell the world about Jesus Christ and spread the good news about the Lord.
This I pray in Jesus Name.
Amen.

PRAYERS FOR NON-BELIEVERS
Dear God,

I seek earnestly for your mercy and grace that you'll show these people that have yet to come to know you but have read this blog. Lord, I pray that through the posts that they have read, they'll come to know you. I pray that Lord, You'll grant them peace beyond understanding when reading about You. In Jesus Name, I cast all circumstances around them that is distracting them and is causing them to falter. Lord, I pray that You'll be with them, guiding them and show them Your way. For You are the way The Truth and The Life. No One comes to the Father except through Jesus Christ. Lord, I pray that Your wisdom will be with them and that Lord You open up the eyes of their heart and that they'll come to a point that they know you and accept You as their personal Lord and Saviour. May these non-believers be saved. This I pray in Jesus Name.
Amen
